Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Gaza-based Palestine daily in its Sunday edition published a cartoon in which it denounced the US envoy George Mitchell’s trip to the region as a mission just to support Israel otherwise disguised as a mission to resolve the Palestinian issue.
The carton depicts footprints of an unseen individual which turns in different directions and finally draws a David Star, the symbol of the fabricated ‘Israel.’
The cartoon carried “Mitchell’s trip to region” as detail, trying to imply the idea that the shuttle diplomacy taken by the plenipotentiary US envoy is actually aimed to shore up the position of the Zionist regime in the Middle East.
